Big Oak Vienna Lager
In 1841, Austrian Brewmaster Anton Dreher established a new Beer style, the Vienna Lager, by kilning his malt differently than all others before it. This process produces richly flavored Malted Barley. Big Oak is a Vienna Lager brewed to the strength of a Bock Beer. Our Vienna Malt undergoes a Decoction Mash to produce a smooth malty flavor perfectly balanced with the Noble Hop Czech Saaz. Cold Lager fermentation traditionally ages the beer slowly at 30° Fahrenheit for over 8 weeks creating Natural Carbonation. Red Oak HopGarten Bavarian Pils
HopGarten Pils celebrates the rows of Hops growing up trellises in Bavaria’s Hallertau Region, the oldest hop growing region in the world. Our Bavarian-Style Pilsner is brewed with the Barke variety of Barley Malt for an exceptionally smooth flavor. Early and late additions of the noble aroma hops Spalt and Saaz give this lager a pleasant herbal finish. Eight weeks of traditional ice cold lagering produces natural carbonation and a rare drinking experience. Brewed according to the 1516 Reinheitsgebot – Purity Law – Only Bavarian Malted Barley, Noble Hops and Lager Yeast. Availability: July - August Average Analysis for a 12 0z. Old Oak Oktoberfest Lager
Old Oak is a Traditional Oktoberfest Style Beer, stronger and darker than modern versions. Prior to artificial refrigeration, Lagers were brewed stronger in order to help preserve the beer during the long cold aging process. Our Traditional Oktoberfest Lager was aged in our cellar for over 15 weeks at 30° Fahrenheit and comes in at 6.5% alcohol by volume. This deep amber Lager is unfiltered, unpasteurized & naturally carbonated. |
Battlefield Bock
Battlefield Bock is a smooth and creamy Bavarian-Style Bock Beer. It is brewed with our proprietary blend of Bavarian malts giving it a distinct roasted taste with hints of coffee and chocolate. We add Noble Czech Saaz to balance the flavor of this full bodied bock beer. This lager is not filtered therefore contains live yeast, a daily supply of vitamin B and minerals not present in mass-produced pasteurized beer. We slow cold age this rare beer for at least 10 weeks before kegging, producing a smooth taste unrivaled in other dark beers. Brewed according to the 1516 Reinheitsgebot-Purity Law.
